Preparation & Cooking Instructions
For food safety and Quality, follow cooking instructions: Cook product to an internal temperature of 165°F.
BOILING WATER: Place pouch in boiling water. Carefully remove and shake pouch vigorously halfway through cooking. If Frozen (0°F), cook the product 60-65 minutes. If Thawed (40°F or less), cook the product for 40-45 minutes.
LOW PRESSURE STEAMER 5-7 lb PSI: Place pouch on perforated steam table pan. Shake pouch vigorously halfway through cooking. If Frozen (0°F), cook the product 65-70 minutes. If Thawed (40°F or less), cook the product 50-55 minutes.
- Product must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F. Stir well before checking temperature.
- Hold the pouch with insulated rubber gloves or tongs. Cut off one corner of the pouch; pour into a serving container.
- If thawing, the product must be thawed under refrigeration (40°F) for no more than 48 hours prior to cooking. DO NOT REFREEZE.
